On behalf of the Scientific Advisory Board and the Organizing Committee we are cordially inviting you to attend the 2nd European Zebrafish Husbandry Association Meeting.
The event is taking place this time in Gödöllő, Hungary from 16th to 18th of October 2024 (https://ezham2024.hu/ ).
The EZHAM2024 meeting-workshop will be organized by a Hungarian University (MATE) as the main organizer, with the addition of ZHA (Zebrafish Husbandry Association, https://zhaonline.org/) as a contributing partner.
EZHAM 2024 will specifically focus on zebrafish facility management, husbandry and fish holding related topics. We are going to discuss the latest scientific achievements in aquarium maintenance, zebrafish husbandry, with special emphasis on health and welfare issues.
The event will take place over three days providing for the delegates opportunity to participate in a range of scientific sessions in the field of research, innovation, technologies, management and good practice.
EZHAM 2024 will offer presentations and open discussions held by prominent international guest speakers from the US and Europe; numerous networking opportunities and also a guided tour for the zebrafish facility of MATE Aquaculture department. Hands-on workshop sessions will be also integrated to the program of the event.
The 3 days zebrafish husbandry meeting will attract a cross section of delegates including facility managers, PI’s, technicians, Phd students and veterinarians from across Europe.
The event area has a maximal number of personnel hold capacity for access the EZHAM2024 meeting personally, which will be around 80-100 person. For those who won’t be able to attend the event personally, it will be an opportunity to join the meeting through remote access from anywhere of the globe as an online participation option.
The event has secured a strong line-up of speakers including international keynote speakers from the United States and Europe who are renowned experts from field of zebrafish facility management (Claire E. Allen, Mollie Milington); experts on husbandry/care/health and monitoring fields (Lynne U. Sneddon, J-P Mocho, Joana Monteiro, Ana Borges).
