Call for abstracts


General Information

  • Please send your abstract submission to before July 31st, 11pm CET.
  • Scientific Committee will consider abstracts in husbandry and welfare related topics of any laboratory fish species (main focus is on zebrafish but abstracts related to other laboratory fish species are also welcome)
  • Abstracts can be submitted independently of registration in the meeting.
  • Abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the EZHAM2024 Scientific Committee. Authors who wish their abstracts to be considered for oral presentation should clearly indicate this in the submission email by following the instructions below. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to decide on the final type of presentation.
  • Authors of the selected abstracts will be notified by email. To exhibit a selected work (poster or talk) at the EZHAM2024, the presenting authors must have completed payment of the registration in full.
  • If any changes to your abstract are necessary, please contact us before the submission deadline.
  • Accepted abstracts will be published in the abstracts book.
  • Have your abstract proofread for spelling, punctuation, grammar. They will be published without further review.

Abstract Formatting Guidelines

All abstracts must be submitted and presented in English. Accepted submission format is:  .word file, font Arial, font size 11, style: normal text, spacing 1.5, left alignment, no indentation. Abstract should be 300-500 words, excluding authors and affiliations. Figures, graphs, images, diagrams cannot be included.

Please copy and paste the following information into the word file, in this order:

Authors and affiliations: First name, Last name1, . Underline name and surname of the presenting author. Use sequential superscript numbers after the surname of each author to indicate affiliation.
Affiliations: 1. Department, Company name, City, Country.
Abstract title: ZZZ
Abstract content: ZZZ
